Guestroom Status -Note

The following room status codes are commonly used by   housekeeping department and front desk :

1. VR (Vacant and Ready)

• The room is currently unoccupied and has been cleaned and inspected. The room is       available for sale.

    2.  VC (Vacant and Clean)

• The room is currently unoccupied and has been cleaned. Additional attention or maintenance is required. The room is not yet available for sale.

    3. VD (Vacant and Dirty)

• The room is currently unoccupied, but has not yet been cleaned. The room is not available for sale.

   4. OR (Occupied and Ready)

• The room is currently occupied, and daily cleaning has been completed. The room is not available for sale.

    5. OC (Occupied and Clean)

• The room is currently occupied. Daily cleaning has been completed, but additional attention or maintenance is required.The room is not available for sale.

    6. OD ( Occupied and Dirty)

• The room is currently occupied, and has not yet been cleaned. The room is not available for sale.

    7. CO (Check-Out)

• The room is scheduled to be vacated on the current date. the room will become available for sale after the current guest checks out and the room has been cleaned.

    8. OOO (Out Of Order)

• The room is undergoing maintenance, redecoration, or correction of other problems. The room is not available for sale.

   9. DND (Do Not Disturb)

• The room is occupied and has not yet been cleaned, because the "Do Not Disturb" tag was displayed on the door at the scheduled time of cleaning.
